NOW HIRING: COMEX & INDUSTRIAL PURCHASING SUPERVISOR

For a Leading Multinational Manufacturing Company – Plant located in >> PARQUE INDUSTRIAL PILAR <<

• Your Main Responsibilities:
• Ensure the timely and accurate purchasing of industrial (productive) and non-industrial (non-productive) materials for our manufacturing plant in Greater Buenos Aires and corporate offices in CABA.
• Manage the import of raw materials and equipment, and to a lesser extent, export operations.
• Source, assess, and develop local and international suppliers, ensuring compliance with corporate quality standards. Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery conditions to meet internal needs and optimize costs.
• Coordinate national and international industrial procurement: request quotations, analyze price trends, negotiate contracts, and issue purchase orders (GACI system).
• Verify supporting documents for payments, approve low-value invoices, and monitor service execution and delivery timelines.
• Oversee purchasing documentation and supplier records.
• Manage and track product and spare parts orders from Brazil, maintaining updates in NOVA and related systems.
• Support customs processes, such as advance payment declarations, and ensure correct invoice verification for international shipments.
• Build strong relationships with vendors through site visits and regular evaluations.
• Occasionally visit the production plant to identify and resolve sourcing needs.
• Oversee company vehicle fleet management (maintenance, incidents, regulatory documents).
• Manage general facility services for the corporate building in Buenos Aires (CABA).
• Communicate daily with international suppliers in English (B2 level or higher).
• Report directly to Management and supervise a team of 2 analysts.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• 2–4 years of experience in COMEX and Industrial Purchasing within manufacturing companies (mandatory).
• University degree or current studies in International Trade, Comex, Foreign Trade, Customs Brokering, or related fields.
• Valid driver’s car license.
• English proficiency (minimum B2 Upper Intermediate) for both written and spoken communication.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Leadership abilities, previous team management, and strong negotiation skills are highly valued.
• Work Schedule & Location:
• Full-time: ON SITE - Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m.
• On-site role at our manufacturing plant in Parque Industrial Pilar.
