Community Growth and Engagement Analyst

HOKALI is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Community Growth and Engagement Analyst to join our Community Team.

HOKALI Academy is a learning hub dedicated to supporting and empowering instructors.

In this role, you'll lead the execution of instructor engagement strategies, oversee content and communications within HOKALI Academy, and help build a strong, connected, and growing community of instructors. You'll collaborate closely with Operations and Customer Success to ensure instructors are engaged, supported, and progressing through a meaningful growth path.

• Create engaging posts, updates, and announcements for HOKALI Academy
• Design and manage instructor retention initiatives (e.g., Instructor of the Month, referral and rewards programs, welcome boxes, small gifts)
• Host two 1-hour Q&A sessions per month with both new and returning instructors
• Respond promptly to all instructor messages and summarize key feedback for internal teams
• Maintain a consistent tone of voice aligned with HOKALI’s values and culture
• Analyze key metrics, optimize strategy and compile reports to ensure that program performance aligns with business objectives.
• Coordinate monthly surveys and quarterly listening sessions to gather instructor feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Design and coordinate monthly webinars, Q&As, and training sessions
• Ensure instructors follow a clear, scalable growth path from entry-level to leadership roles
• Identify and book guest speakers from across the U.S. aligned with HOKALI’s mission
• Launch community recognition initiatives to celebrate top-performing instructors

• Plan and execute in-person instructor meetups to deepen relationships and foster connection
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to improve tools, feedback loops, and community processes

• 1–2 years experience in community engagement, internal communications, or education operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience organizing and hosting events (virtual or in-person)
• Self-starter with high attention to detail and creativity in engagement strategies
• Experience using community platforms (e.g., Circle, Slack, LMS tools)
• Passion for education, mentorship, and building community
